50's Theme Teacher Appreciation Week 2015

We have to do our Teacher Appreciation Week early due to so much testing at the high school level.

Our Theme was the 50's this year.
Monday we had an all day breakfast bar.
Tuesday we had an all day Finger Foods Bar.
Wednesday we had an all day Dessert Bar.
Thursday we had a Baked Potato Luncheon.
This year we weren't able to do Friday.
But it will be back again next year.
All these pictures are of Thursday.

Due to an medical problems in my family we didn't have as many business sponsors this year.  But our parents are amazing and really stepped up to cover everything we needed.
Denny's gave us enough Sandwiches for our entire staff of 375.  We used HEB gift cards they donated and parent cash to buy the Baked Potatoes.  Rudy's Country Store was very kind to cook the Potatoes at very last minute notice.  Atkinson Farms donated some beautiful Veggies & Fruits.  Aaron's Rental let up use their furniture for a week.

The Diner decorations and records were made ahead of time but everything else seriously didn't get made until the week before

We had 94 businesses donate to us.  This cash, prizes, gifts, food, and other items.  Shows you when you make an effort to silicate, it pays off.  Last year, when I had time we had almost 300.  I did use the PTO Ultimate list this year and got some stuff from it.  I also tried the Donation Match, but didn't get anything from it.  It appears if you pay you might actually get something.  We don't have a PTO so we don't have any money.  -0- Budget
Monday thru Wednesday we had Fruit & Veggie Trays.  Along with Cheese Cubes and Crackers.  Thursday (we usually do this on Friday), we shut down to get everything ready for Lunch.

Note:  Last year we had a major Business Food Sponsor for 4 of our 5 day week.
Still working on the business hand written thank you notes and putting goodie bags together that were donated.
Our school has great volunteers.  With everything I had going on, I was only there one day.  They are so awesome for doing everything.
