Granny's Hot Rolls
- 3 c. lukewarm water
- 2 pkgs dry yeast, dissolve real well
- 3/4 c.. sugar
- 2/3 c of oil or melted oleo
- Flour, approximately 2/3 of a 5 lb bag
Dissolve yeast in 1 cup of warm water. In a big bowl, mix 2 cups warm water, oil and sugar. Add the 1 cup water of water yeast mixture. Stir all up real good then add flour and mix real good. I use the big Tupperware bowl to mix in and put the cover on, it makes the yeast work real good. Let rise until the bowl is full. You can punch down and let rise until you get ready to make out the rolls. Bake at 375 until real brown in a greased pan. These keep good in refrigerator until ready to cook.
